Shipping & Returns

Length of time before your order ships:

Thank you for visiting The Earth's Cauldron. ~ Please keep in mind that most of our items are handmade to order. We do our absolute best to ship your package within 3 business days of checkout excluding weekends and holidays.
If your order takes longer than 3 business days to ship, we will notify you immediately. This is mostly dependant on how many handmade items are in your cart.

Custom and special orders have more lead time, and are explained individually in each product description.
Larger orders may take longer to create.

Shipping methods:

Your order will be shipped through the service you choose during checkout.  USPS is generally the preferred method of delivery among my customers.  All shipping prices include delivery confirmation.  We will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged goods.  If you would like to have your package insured, please add insurance to your order during checkout.  Note that $50.00 worth of insurance is automatically included with USPS Priority Mail.
International orders are always welcome.  Be advised though that import duties, other charges and taxes may be incurred. 

Shipping overages:

We will of course be happy to refund any overages in shipping costs.  Sometimes online shipping calculators are not 100% accurate depending on weight, destination and holidays.  It is our policy to pack your order in the best possible economical way to save us both on shipping costs! These costs are always handed down to you.
Any overages $1.00 or more will be refunded.  Please note that we are also calculating in the cost of packaging. 

When your package will arrive:

Please allow time for your package to arrive.  USPS Priority Mail and UPS will provide tracking information, so you will always know where your package is at all times.
International orders, please remember that the USPS has been known to hold and inspect shipments in customs for several weeks prior to reaching its destination.
The Earth's Cauldron is not responsible for shipping delays caused by UPS, the USPS or any other international mail carrier.

Please be sure that your shipping address matches your confirmed Paypal address to insure timely delivery.

Refunds/Returns/Damaged Items:

IF you are unsatisfied with your order, you must get an approval code to return your items.  NOTE: THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE HANDMADE ITEMS SUCH AS SOAP AND BODY CARE PRODUCTS.  If you are unsure if your items is returnable, please contact us.
Items returned for a refund will not include original shipping costs.  Returns or refused shipments are not considered approved and eligible for a return approval code and will not be accepted.
Refused shipments will be returned to you.  You must contact us to make return/refund arrangements.

If you receive any damaged items, please contact us within 3 days of receipt. We will do everything we can to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

If you feel any of the shipping charges are unreasonable or have questions concerning your final total due to shipping charges, please contact us right away BEFORE you checkout to discuss the matter further.
