Red Brick Dust is an old Southern tradition. Hoodoo workers keep large jars of it on hand, and so do I!

Ground by hand from antique red bricks from my hometown here at The Earth's Cauldron! Bricks are over 100 years old.

Red Brick Dust is the modern equivalent in the South of Red Ocher Clay. Red Ocher Clay was widely used in ancient times for sacred purposes. We use Red Brick Dust today for the same.

It is said that if you lay down a line of Red Brick Dust your enemies cannot cross it. Use it as a protection sweep also for the front steps of your home on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays.

Sprinkle a little on your doorways and windowsills from end to end or add some to your bucket of floor wash to help protect.
